Well after talking to my best friend, who I havent talked to in a while,  I decided to post an incident that I went through last Saturday. Although it is very embarassing I feel if anyone can get a laugh well then its ok with me. You know after us women become moms we lose all ability to think sometimes. It's like one second you know what you are doing or saying but the next you have no idea what you were just doing. And those of you who know me know how air headed I can be....yes here it comes.... It all started on last Saturday morning. Kay stayed with a friend overnight and I was able to sleep in late. After waking up I thought I would take my blood pressure meds ...well one of my tablets are white and tiny. I took them all out of habit without even thinking and placed the bottles back into my purse. Well I looked at Frank, my male pug, and realized I have not given him his antibiotic yet so I walked over to a shelf which has his allergy meds and antibiotic that he was prescribed. I then placed the tablet in my hand. Well I got side tracked. I looked over at my daughters pet turtles and realized they needed to be fed. While I held that tablet in my hand under my pinky and ring finger, I opened the bag of turtle food and fed and talked to the turtles. Well Frank saw me get the meds most likely and took off. I looked around after feeding the turtles and thought "what was I doing?" Well I saw I had a tablet in my hand and thought " did I not take my Med?" Well I walked over to my purse and thought a moment " I guess I didnt" .....I popped that tablet into my mouth and then took a swig of Dasani. Then it hit me as I swallowed my water....  OH NOOOOO!!!! I TOOK FRANKS ANTIBIOTICCCCC!!!  Cough Cough....Gag Gag....   WHERE'S  the telephone book....Oh good...(Thank goodness for the poison control number in the front page) Ring Ring..."Hello, poison control. Can I help you?" "Well I dont know how to put this but I just swallowed my dog's medicine by accident..... ......Well I told that lady everything that happened Im sure she thought I was nuts but you could hear her smile on the other end when she replied...." Maam' are you allergic to penicillan?"  ...."Umm no!"  she told me that I would be fine and that it was like the human medicine.....WHEWWWWWWW. Thank you (click)

Now I vow to not give Frank his meds at the same time of day I take mine....I get too side tracked.

Well now that I completely shared all I think I will head to bed. As an update Frank is well now and is off of his meds. And I have been extra careful as to pay attention to one thing at a time...lol.... Now you know you have done something just as dumb....  Goodnite all and God Bless!!!!
